Culture, Community and Youth Minister Edwin Tong has called for a partnership between youth advocates, community leaders and the Government to promote social harmony. He was speaking at a forum organised by advocacy group hash.peace.

One of the winners was Ms Nazhath Faheema, 36. The founder of youth organisation hash.peace has been a vocal advocate for social harmony here since 2015, engaging strangers from all walks of life over coffee or a meal to build better understanding between communities.

Another panellist, Mr Leonard Sim, who is the general secretary of advocacy group hash.peace, said there needs to be more discussions on such racially discriminatory acts because they affect the mental health of the victims.
